The Hillcrest Academy Raven basketball teams welcome Louisa-Muscatine to Hillcrest Union Tuesday for a Southeast Iowa Superconference basketball doubleheader. The Raven boys come into the game at 7-3 overall, 6-3 in conference, looking for a win after back-to-back losses to Winfield-Mt. Union and Mediapolis in the last 10 days. The Ravens score 52 points a night and give up 42 while shooting 47% from the floor. They average 23 rebounds, 13 assists and 13 turnovers per outing. Grant Bender leads Hillcrest scoring 19 points per game to go along with six rebounds. Luke Schrock has a team best three assists and two steals per game.

Louisa-Muscatine is 1-10 for the year, grabbing the seasons first win in their last game 31-25 over Highland a week ago. The Falcons average 31 points per game, while giving up 51 and shoot 37% from the floor. they average 16 rebounds, four assists and 18 turnovers per game. Individual leaders for L-M are Dawson Downing and Dru Raisbeck each scoring eight points per game. The Ravens beat the Falcons in Letts in December 62-35.

In the girls contest, Hillcrest enters at 1-11 overall this year, 0-8 in the Superconference, following a 69-29 loss to Mediapolis last Tuesday. The Ravens score 29 points per game and give up 50 shooting 27% from the floor to go along with 23 rebounds, four assists and 15 turnovers per night. Esther Hughes is the individual leader for Hillcrest at 15 points, five rebounds, and two steals per game.

The L-M girls are 9-2 this year, 7-2 in the north. They were 43-24 winners over Highland in their last action. On the season, they score 44 points per game and give up 31 while shooting 39%. They average 26 boards, nine assists and 14 turnovers. Individual Falcon leader is Kaylee Corbin averaging a double double at 23 points and 11 boards per night along with three steals and two assists. The Falcons won this matchup on their home floor in December 60-31.
