The Columbus Community girls’ basketball team was back on the road Tuesday for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division matchup with Mediapolis and it was all Bulldogs in a 74-14 final.

Mediapolis jumped all over the Wildcats early with a 23-7 advantage after one and 48-7 at the break with the margin continuing to get steeper in the final 16 minutes. The Bulldogs shot 50% from the floor and were led by Hallie Mohr’s 18 points. Columbus was minus 16 in the rebounding department and minus 23 in the turnover margin. Lily Coil, Sera Vela, Victoria Howell, and Libby White each had three points with White also hauling in five rebounds. 

Columbus is now 0-2 and they get back on the court Monday at New London (0-3).
