Good vibes welcome the WACO volleyball program heading into the playoffs, as they ended the regular season with a three set sweep at home last night against Southeast Iowa Super Conference foe Van Buren (10-17).

The Warriors showed off their toughness by winning three close sets by scores of 25-21, 25-21, and 25-23. Ellah Kissell had 11 kills to go along with Marie Farmer’s seven. Grace Coble recorded 20 assists and three blocks while Jocelyn Fulton paced the squad with 11 digs. The team served at a 96% clip with 11 aces including a perfect 17 of 17 from Coble. 

WACO concludes the regular season 20-12 overall, sixth in the south division with a 3-5 mark, and now they gear up for a first round class 1A regional on Monday hosting Keota (7-15).
