A Washington woman serving time at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women is facing new charges out of Washington County.

Thirty-one year-old Ashlee Ann Weimer is wanted for possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, and carrying weapons, according to the Washington County Communications Center. Bond was set at $7,000 cash only, and a detainer was placed with the correctional facility. Weimer was sentenced to serve up to 20 years in prison on September 11, 2020 for felony charges of eluding, possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, and possession of five grams or less of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, a class C felony.
