The Iowa Tourism Office and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources recently announced updates to their Park Passport program. The project gives residents a fun and engaging way to track their visits to different state parks, with more than 30,000 check-ins. Prizes include t-shirts, Fitbits, sporting goods, camping accessories and more. There are four different passports to participate in, including the Iowa State Park Passport with a local stop at Lake Darling State Park near Brighton, the Iowa Scenic Byway Passport that includes the Toolesboro Indian Mounds near Wapello in Louisa County, the Iowa Wine Passport and the Iowa Beer Passport which include both Wooden Wheel Vineyard near Keota and the Kalona Brewing Company.
