A minor was injured in a golf cart wreck Sunday afternoon near the city of Washington.

Agencies responded at about 1:21 p.m. to the 2600 block of Nutmeg Avenue for a golf cart incident that involved two juveniles, according to the Washington County Communications Center. An 11-year-old male was reported to have face injuries and possible abdominal injuries. Air Care transported the patient to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The Washington police and fire departments, and Washington County Ambulance, Rescue, and Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
