Cedarcrest Country Club is where the Winfield-Mt. Union golf teams traveled to on Thursday for a match against Louisa-Muscatine and the Wolves split the Southeast Iowa Super Conference action.

The WMU boys bested the Falcons with a nine-hole tally of 177-224. Brady Loyd was meet medalist with a six above par 41 that included a birdie on hole one. Jacob Kongable birdied hole two and finished with a 43. Seth Schurr was next in line with a 46 and Bryce Wade carded a 47. Scratch scores included Carter Loyd and Isaac Schurr each with 50. 

Without top golfer Abbie Cooley, the girls did not have as good of luck falling 234-252. Isabel Kann tied for top honors with a 58 and Ava Hagge had a 60. Aurey Meeker managed a 65, Alli Humphreys 69, and Afton Wilkerson 79.

The Wolves get back on the links Monday in Kalona.
