Infrastructure improvements and repair dominated conversation and action at the most recent meeting of the Wellman City Council. 

The council approved moving forward with work on manholes prior to other street repairs this spring. Work will be done by Save Our Sewers Inc. This will help with infiltration issues with groundwater and get manholes even with street level. The council also approved curb and driveway repair for damage done during snow removal on north Sixth Avenue. They also approved the purchase of a new gas calibration sensor cap from Sensit Technologies for just under $150.
