The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk archery program recently had nine athletes compete at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Iowa State Tournament. In the high school ranks, Zane Fisher led the way. The Golden Hawk junior shot a 284, including 14 tens to finish 28th of 323 high school boys. Zoe Fisher was the top Golden Hawk girl. The junior shot a 262 with six tens, to finish 186th of 316 high school girls. Other scores for the Hawks included Camden Miller 282, Koby Karnes 258 and Kaylee Shirkey 248.

For the Mid-Prairie middle school crew, Elijah Statler led the way with a 273 including nine tens. That was 32nd of 383 competing and eighth for all seventh grade boys. Statler was also the only Golden Hawk to qualify and compete in the 3D tournament where he shot a 273 with 11 tens to finish 10th in the middle school boys contest. Morgyn Nafziger led the middle school girls with a 250 including nine tens. That was 131st of 275 middle school girls. Other Mid-Prairie middle school scores included Landon Kuenster 238 and Cecil Kelley 224.
