The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team continues a busy section of their schedule tonight when they travel to Anamosa for a River Valley Conference quadrangular with Cascade, North Cedar and the Blue Raiders. Mid-Prairie comes in with an 8-8 dual record on the season after winning two of three at Wilton Tuesday, posting wins over Benton and North Linn but falling to the Beavers. Senior Josh Wallington leads the way for the Hawks with a 23-1 overall record. Ben Meader and Mose Yoder have also gotten to 20 wins this year.

Cascade is 11-9 on the year. The Cougars swept a River Valley triangular last week, taking down Durant and Tipton. The Cougars have one ranked wrestler in their lineup with Aidan Noonan at No. 1 in class 1A at 132lbs according to thepredicament.com. Mid-Prairie beat Cascade head-to-head last season 54-27.

North Cedar is 1-7 on the dual season. The Knights were swept by West Liberty and Monticello in an RVC triangular last week. Top performers for North Cedar on the year are Nate Wood at 126lbs and Peyton Clarke at 152lbs both with 12 wins. The Golden Hawks beat the Knights a year ago 54-24.

Anamosa is 6-5 on the year. These are the first duals for the Blue Raiders after the holiday break. Anamosa has one ranked wrestler in their lineup with Connor Andresen No. 10 in class 2A at 285lbs. The Blue Raiders beat the Golden Hawks a year ago 49-30. Action starts at 5:30 and continues into the evening at Anamosa High School.
