Road closures are expected northeast of the city of Washington this week for pipeline work.

The Washington County Engineer’s Office announces that subject to weather conditions, on Tuesday Enterprise Products Mid-America Pipeline is planning to perform maintenance and repair work on the pipeline that crosses 192nd Street about a half mile north of 200th Street and on 230th Street just west of Redwood Avenue. This work is part of a larger pipeline inspection and maintenance project that will require closure of portions of 192nd and 230th streets to allow the work to proceed safely. The closure is expected to last about five days for each project, which are expected to occur nearly simultaneously. Enterprise Products Mid-America Pipeline has been working with the Washington County Engineer’s Office to coordinate this closure and minimize the impact to motorists. The public is urged to find alternate routes and to use caution when traveling in the area of the project. A map of the labeled work areas is included with this story at kciiradio.com.
