The Washington boys’ bowling squad got a couple competitions in before the holiday break including a triangular at Sigourney earlier this month.

The Demons placed third with a score of 1,314 pins while West Burlington was second with 1,907 and Sigourney won with 2,096. Ethan Zieglowsky picked up right where he left off from last year placing first with a two-game score of 481 including a high game of 258. The junior was runner-up at conference last season and just missed out on a state appearance. Other Demon scores included Caleb Zieglowsky 238, Erika Williams 150, and Zakkary Hesseltine 62. The team’s baker games total was 393. 

Washington is 0-6 at the break and will resume play January 7th at Mount Pleasant.
