Nearly $250,000 is being awarded across 13 grants by the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. At their meeting Wednesday, the WCRF Board approved 13 2020 relief grants for a total of $244,315. Five area non-profits received the top $25,000 award, they include: Washington County Ambulance for ventilators; the Lake Darling Youth Center for relief; Waypoint Services in Linn County for recovery support; Bridgehaven Pregnancy Support in Linn County for organizational operations; and the Catherine McAuley Center in Linn County for long term storage needs. The 13 grants will be awarded at an invitation only event in December.
