No injuries were reported after a kitchen fire in Washington on Wednesday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 4:14 p.m. a fire in a kitchen was reported to emergency officials at 750 East 2nd Street. Washington Fire Department, Ainsworth Fire Department, Washington County Ambulance, Washington Police Department, and Alliant Energy were called to the home. The fire was extinguished.
