Numerous volleyball players in Southeast Iowa not only got it done on the court this fall, but had a successful year in the classroom as well with numerous area athletes recently named to the 2020 Iowa Girls Coaches Association Academic All State Volleyball team.

Seven of the 230 players across all classes in the state were from the KCII listening area. WACO had five of their seniors recognized in Morgan Graber, Kaylee Shelman, Molly McLaughlin, Lindsey Roth, and Ellie Miles.  Highland’s Kayla Cerny and Sigourney’s Sidney Morse were also a part of the list.

To be eligible for academic all state a student athlete has to be a senior and have a 3.85 GPA or higher.
