Scoreboards around southeast Iowa had a hard time keeping up with Kayden Reinier over his two plus years in the varsity backfield for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks. He finished his career with 236 total points, fourth all-time in the history of Mid-Prairie football. He finished ahead of kicker Austin Errthum, a 2013 alum who ended with 230 points and behind 1976 grad Kevin Kos in third with 260 points. In 2020, Reinier posted 104 points, ninth most in a single season in Mid-Prairie history. That included 17 touchdowns and a two point conversion. His 2019 was an even bigger year with 126 points on 21 touchdowns. On the all-time Golden Hawk scoring list, Adam Kos comes in second with 318 points, finishing his career in 2001, Tanner Miller posted 513 points during his time with the Golden Hawks ending in 2009.
