A threat against the Lone Tree School has caused classes to move online as a precaution. In an open letter, Superintendent Ken Crawford explains that school administration received notice Tuesday night of a threat against the school for Wednesday. Johnson County authorities are assessing the incident. School administration is working with law enforcement to make an informed decision about school on Thursday.

Crawford thanks the community for their help and patience. He says when a student sees such behavior online and reports it immediately, it shows the care and concern people have for each other in Lone Tree.
