The Hillcrest Academy boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Iowa City Thursday for the Bud Williams Invitational at the Iowa City Kickers complex, hosted by Iowa City, City High. The Raven girls finished with a team score of 235 points, in eighth place of eight teams. Dubuque Senior won the meet with 27 points. Top finish for Hillcrest came from Leah Bontrager 26th with a time of 21:45. Other Hillcrest girls finishers included Julia Boller 67th, Kennedy Roth 68th, Taryn Leichty 69th and Hannah Chalupa 70th.

The Raven boys did not post a team score. Collin Miller led the way in 61st place with a time of 20:35. Other Ravens included Will Kolck 64th and Jorge Canchola 65th. The Hillcrest boys and girls will be back in action Monday when they host their home meet on the campus of Hillcrest Academy in Kalona.
