Private family funeral mass for 94-year-old Bernard Hammes of Sigourney will be held at 10:30a.m. Saturday, September 26th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney. It will be livestreamed on the Powell Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in rural Harper. Public visitation will be from 4-7p.m. Friday, September 25th at the church. Mask usage and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County or the Clear Creek Heritage Association.
