Over 100 businesses will have items for sale at discounted rates on KCII Radio this week as the Home Shopping Extravaganza Returns. KCII General Manager Joe Nichols shares how listeners can take part in the deals, “Some items are very limited, and so you definitely want to take advantage of the deals while we still have the items that you’re interested in, right? So, getting that list kind of put together, look through it, highlight what you want, and when you call us up, because that’s all you’ve got to do: when we’re on air give us a call and tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll tell you if we’ve got it.” The percentage off will vary throughout the three-day event. Nichols says there are many different items up for sale, “We’ve got a lot of the normal things we’ve had over the years, you know, from oil changes and things, maintenance for the car, fun things for the kids to do. I think we’ve got some Planet 3 Extreme, so there’s those types of things. School activity passes, YMCA passes or memberships, hearing aids, snowblower, I think I’ve got a dishwasher, I mean we’ve got all kinds of stuff. You know, there are some staples, I would say to what we always have, you know, a lot of our local restaurants and businesses that participate. But then there’s always those unique items that kind of come in every year. And I know that we’ve got some newer businesses on this year that haven’t been on in the past, so you’ll definitely want to look at the list.”

The KCII Home Shopping Extravaganza will be live on air from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A special one-hour segment will also air from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday. To make a purchase call 653-4513.

Items can then be picked up curbside at KCII on Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday 9 a.m. to noon.
