Two new Clover Kids clubs will start in Washington County this fall. Washington County 4-H and Youth Coordinator Amy Green has announced the two clubs will start in October. Clover Kids is a branch of the 4-H program for youth in kindergarten through third grade that works to build life skills through hands-on activities involving STEM, literacy, healthy living, and communication. Washington County has 10 Clover Kid clubs with seven open for enrollment.

A new club will start in Brighton called the Lucky Clovers and will meet the second Tuesday of the month. They will hold a Find Out Night on October 13th at 6 p.m. at the Brighton Community Building.

The second new club is the Creative Clovers and they will hold their first meeting October 28th at 6:30 p.m. in Dallmeyer Hall on the fairgrounds. The Creative Clovers will meet the fourth Wednesday of the month and will use curriculum called Art-Lit To Go with hands-on art with a variety of mediums and styles each month.
