Six Washington baseball players were recently recognized by the Southeast Conference being named to all conference teams.

Reece Mayer and Ethan Patterson headlined the selections being named to the first team. Mayer was chosen as an outfielder and the junior broke out this year for a .377 batting average that was sixth in the league and his 17 RBI was in a tie for third. Patterson was chosen as utility and the freshman recorded a 2.58 ERA in 21 2/3 innings on the bump and brought in 10 runs at the dish. 

Lucas Kroll and Luke Turner were named to the second team. Kroll had a solid sophomore campaign on the hill tossing 27 2/3 frames and finishing with a 2.02 ERA. Turner recorded a .278 batting average and had a 2.96 earned run average in 26 innings. 

Seniors Brady Knutson and Trevor Quigley were recognized as honorable mention. Knutson was second on the team with a .350 batting average and Quigley was not far behind with .276. Five Demons were also named to the academic all SEC team including Turner, Knutson, Quigley, Mayer, and Caleb Tanner. 

Washington finished the 2020 campaign with a 9-8 overall record and fourth in the league.
