Southeast Conference action takes place at Dick Sojka Memorial Field tonight when the Washington baseball team plays host to Fairfield. 

The Demons seek similar offensive results as Monday when they combined for 31 runs in a doubleheader sweep against Keokuk. Washington is 5-4 overall, 3-3 in the SEC, and they are hitting .292 at the dish as a team. Reece Mayer leads the pack with a .448 batting average and 12 RBI while Ethan Patterson holds a 1.17 ERA on the bump in 12 innings of work. Washington took care of Fairfield on opening night two weeks ago with an emphatic 14-3 win. 

The Trojans stand at 2-8 overall and 0-4 in the league. Nate Smithburg has been a staple in the offense with a .345 average and four RBI. Carter Ferrel has yet to allow a run in six innings on the mound.

The doubleheader begins at 5:30 p.m. tonight in Washington and listen to all of the action on FM 106.1 KCII starting at 5 p.m.
