A man who was taken by helicopter to the hospital after a truck rolled onto him early Sunday has died. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 12:20 a.m. emergency personnel were notified of a man pinned under a truck tire in the 1400 block of Keokuk Washington Road near Keota. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found 28-year-old Travis Greiner of Keota unresponsive and stuck under a tire of a Dodge Ram 2500. He was extricated and taken by Aircare to the University of Iowa Hospitals.

Greiner died from his injuries on Sunday. Funeral arrangements are pending with Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota.
