The HACAP mobile food pantry will be stopping in Washington County ahead of the 4th of July holiday weekend. On July 2nd, the mobile pantry will visit the Washington United Presbyterian Church from 1-2p.m. and a new location; the west side of City Park in Brighton from 10:30-11:30a.m. Previously, the event was held at Brighton City Hall. Similar to other events during the COVID-19 pandemic, the mobile pantry will feature pre-boxed meals instead of the normal grab-and-go style of food distribution. Individuals are asked to remain in their vehicles or form a line until a volunteer helps them individually. These measures are taken to practice social distancing and to limit contact between volunteers and community members. Mask use is not required, but is highly encouraged.
