The summer sports season in Iowa is set to begin in just over a week. AM and FM KCII has set our baseball and softball broadcast schedule for Hillcrest Academy and Mid-Prairie this summer. The season opens on Monday, June 15th. That night we will have a live broadcast of Hillcrest Academy softball as they take on the Highland Huskies on the road. Tuesday, June 16th is our first look at the Raven baseball team when they host the Nikes of Burlington Notre Dame.

The Mid-Prairie portion of our broadcast schedule also opens on Tuesday, June 16th when the Golden Hawk baseball team hosts Eddyville-Blakesburg for a nonconference doubleheader. We’ll see the Golden Hawk softball team for the first time this year on the road when they travel to North Cedar to take on the Knights Friday, June 19th.
