Students at Lone Tree high school had the opportunity to take some interesting senior photos with llamas. Spanish teacher Susan Soupiset has been a fanatic of llamas ever since seeing a baby llama enter the world. Her classroom is filled with stuffed llamas, pictures of llamas, and much more llama memorabilia. Soupiset wanted to find a unique way to celebrate those seven seniors who took Spanish courses all four years of their high school career. Prairie Patch Farms brought over two llamas to the high school and allowed those students to take pictures with the llamas while practicing social distancing. Soupiset says she is very proud of her students’ accomplishments and knew this was the perfect way to congratulate her students and create some final moments together. Soupiset has a feeling more llama visits will happen at Lone Tree in the future, and even jokes the mascot for Lone Tree should become the Llamas.
