Like the Demon girls, plenty of familiar faces surround the Washington boys’ golf team this spring, as they lost just one of their top six golfers from 2019.

The Demons were a .500 team a year ago and had a 199 nine-hole average. All-conference returners in Brock Sobaski and Brady Knutson will look to lead the charge in 2020 if a season is able to happen. The seniors both qualified for districts last spring with Sobaski averaging a 76 per 18-holes and Knutson not far behind with 81. Fellow senior Caleb Tanner and sophomores Grant Sobaski and John Prohaska also return with experience. Head Coach Collin Stark was pleased with the work his team put in the offseason. “Our team has put in a lot of time on the golf course. Golf is one of those sports where you can’t fake if you practice or not. If you put in the time, it is going to show. I know each of our guys really worked hard to improve and that will help our goal of having four solid scores every round.”

Junior Wilx Witthoft and freshman Isaac Vetter round out the roster right now for the Demons.
