The Keota boys basketball team enjoyed a tremendous season on the offensive end of the floor. The Eagles scored a conference best and third most in class 1A 72.6 points per game during the recent year, in part because of their long distance accuracy. Keota hit 175 three point shots during the year, an average of over seven per game. That 175 total is 10th most in class 1A. The Eagles knocked them down at a 32.5% clip. Their 538 attempts were eighth most in the state. JD Stout led the Eagles and the South Iowa Cedar League with 65 made three point goals. Carson Sprouse was second on the team and third in the conference with 46 makes. Luke Hammen hit 32 long balls on the season good for sixth in the conference. The Eagles finished the year with a 20-4 overall record.
