The state tournament is upon the Washington archery team, as the Demons travel to Des Moines today for the annual event.

Washington will be represented at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. The high school team will have 24 participants in the bullseye tournament and 12 in the 3D. The Demons are fresh off of a bullseye title in their home tournament last week. Curtis Stender bested the entire boys field of 65 with a 291 score and Alexis Ide also headlined the day placing fifth out of 52 high school girls with 285.

The chance to keep the season going begins at 8 a.m. this morning on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.
