Healthy food choices and kitchen safety were taught at a recent session of Kids in the Kitchen. The after school 4-H Clover Kid club teaches elementary students about kitchen safety, major food groups, and healthy choices for their growing bodies. While making breakfast splits, pizza boats, and whole grain trail mix the students practiced correct handwashing and how to measure ingredients. The 23-member club meets at Stewart Elementary School weekly in January and February.
