Coming off their first conference loss of the season on Tuesday, the Keota boys’ basketball team got back to work and downed English Valleys 71-50 at home on Thursday.

The Eagles were in control for the whole 32 minutes leading 19-12 after one and 40-25 at half before seeing the margin continue to get steeper after the break. JD Stout had another big night with 30 points on 10 of 18 shooting including five triples. Luke Hammen chipped in with 15 points and seven boards.

The Eagle girls had a hard time against the Bears falling 60-25.

The boys’ team improves to 10-2 overall and the girls are 1-12. Both squads are back at it Monday at BGM.
