Art teachers from all around southeast Iowa will flock to the WACO High School to take part in the second annual Create and Connect Art Educator Day. Three local art teachers will lead the event, including Sarah Peters of WACO, Erin Almelien of Washington, and Jeanna Gerot of Wapello. Throughout the day, the teachers will discuss different topics such as standards-based grading; current practices; and art room hacks, tips, and tricks.
