snow-forecast-update

Iowa is bracing for a winter storm that’s expected to move into the state Friday. The National Weather Service forecast shows about four inches of snow in the KCII listening area. Even more snow is expected in north-central Iowa. In southern Iowa, mixed precipitation is expected Friday night with sleet, freezing rain, and rain. The NWS advises that the exact amounts of snow and mixed precipitation is not certain. Slick and snow packed roads may create hazardous conditions, along with blowing snow reducing visibility. The storm is expected late Friday morning through Saturday evening. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
