Stop signs in Ainsworth were vandalized over the weekend. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 9 a.m. Sunday authorities were notified that several stop signs in Ainsworth were run over and there were tracks of a vehicle going through yards and ditches in town. There were stop signs missing at Washington and 3rd Street, at North Railroad and 4th, at North Railroad and 5th, and at Old Military Road and Monroe. The city was made aware of the damages. No charges have been made at this time.
