Five homes and one business will be showcasing their holiday decor this weekend on the annual Candlelight Tour of Homes. The holiday event is presented by the Washington Chamber of Commerce and event coordinator Alisha Davis explains what the proceeds are used for, “You’ll just tour each home that’ll be decorated for Christmas in each of their different ways. And all the proceeds from this go toward the lights downtown, so the lights around the square, which we have extended those lights this year outside of just the perimeter of the square but even out further, so that’s going to be something neat to look for this year.”

The homes include a new build, a 1950’s house, a Victorian from 1890, the 5,000 square feet on the second floor of a downtown building, and a 1900 Victorian. The business featured is the Greiner Buildings office at 120 East Main Street, where Santa will be holding his visits. Tickets for the tour can be purchased in advance at the Chamber, or at the door on the day of the event. Visit the six stops between 4-8 p.m. Saturday or 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
