Certified student enrollment in the Washington Community School District is down slightly from last year. Technology Director Jeff Brock tells KCII News that the certified enrollment for this school year is 1702.91, down 11.54 from last year. The number of students in seats is up almost seven students to 1650.91.

Brock tells KCII News that one thing to note is that the number of students who open enrolled into the Washington School District is up nine, and 9.5 fewer students elected to open enroll out of Washington. He adds there are still minor changes that may be made depending on changes from the state.
