Over $1 million was awarded across 15 grants at the fall grant distribution ceremony held by the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. The largest grant Wednesday night went to the City of Washington’s Wellness Park in the amount of $650,000. The other six-figure grant was $147,209 to Washington County Hospital and Clinics for their MRI upgrade project. The total amount awarded was $1,133,566. Since the Foundation began awarding grants in the fall of 2006, 1,377 competitive grants have been awarded for $46,715,421.
