Salem-native Cali Wilson will be performing tonight on NBC’s The Voice. The singer from Henry County will be on the stage aiming to advance to the top 11. Last week, Wilson made it to the top 13 with a save by her coach, Blake Shelton.

The public can help Wilson advance by voting. There are multiple ways to vote including online at NBC.com/VoiceVote or through The Voice mobile app. Also, streaming her song today on Apple Music will boost her chances of moving forward in the competition. Her cover of Butterflies is currently available to stream.

The 2009 Mt. Pleasant High School alumna taught herself to play guitar in high school, and used songwriting as an escape when she realized she was gay and felt like she couldn’t be herself. She is the daughter of Carla Wilson. She now lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where she pursues music and manages a kickboxing gym.

Tonight’s episode begins at 7 p.m. CST.
