angel-tree

As we near the holiday season, organizations in Louisa County are thinking of ways to help the less fortunate. Again this year, they are hosting the Christmas Angel Wish Tree program. This serves as a way to make sure that underprivileged children receive a Christmas gift. A tree with paper ornaments with desired gifts written down will be located on the first floor of the Louisa County Courthouse. Those who would like to donate may select an ornament from the tree and provide a gift to that child. To give a gift in the Columbus Junction area contact the Community Action Program of Louisa County, and for those in the Wapello, Oakville and Grandview area, you can leave the gifts at the Louisa County Courthouse the week of Monday, December 2nd.
