Tonight the Highland High School Fine Arts Department will perform this year’s musical Legally Blonde on the high school stage. The show is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn Mayor movie from 2001 that follows the exploits of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who attempts to win back her ex-boyfriend by getting a Doctorate of Law degree. The show is directed by Jennifer McClenahan and features Highland seniors Zack Knox, Emily Streb, Abby Clifton, Bryan Redlinger, Emma Crossett, Catherine Jones, Alyssa Brase, Erica Thirtyacre, Noah Holden, Cole Adamson, Jacob Grimm, Niyelli Jimenez, and Nicole Mickelson. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for students, $3 for seniors and all veterans and current servicemen and women are admitted for free. The performance begins at 7p.m. At Highland High School.
