The WACO volleyball season came to a close on Thursday when they lost in four sets to New London in a class 1A regional semifinal.

The Tigers flew out of the gates with a 25-15 win in set one, but the Warriors quickly made a match of it with a 25-18 victory in the second. New London came right back and captured a 25-19 set three win and 25-13 in the fourth to advance to the finals. Addie Pry led the Tiger offense with 14 kills.

The Warriors close the year 23-12 and they say goodbye to one senior in Laney Graber. New London (29-8) advances to play Holy Trinity (27-10) on Tuesday for the right to go to state.
