Friday was a big night for Mid-Prairie running back Kayden Reinier. The junior was not only part of a school record setting 77 point outburst in a 64 point win over Albia, but he also put his own name in the record books in three different categories for his work on the field in the game. Reinier broke a 93 yard touchdown run against the Blue Demons, matching Adam Kos in 1999 for the second longest run in school history. His five total rushing touchdowns in the game are fourth most in a single contest in school history, tying him with Adam Kos, Sean Thornton, Josh Berry, Josh Boone, Tanner Miller, Brody Barthelman and Ricky Vargas on the list. His total of 270 rushing yards Friday is seventh all-time in program history for a single game. Reinier finished the season with 1,127 yards on the ground and 21 touchdowns on 159 carries.
