A truck rolled onto its side on Ginkgo Avenue and trapped one person inside Monday. As heard live from the scene on KCII, a truck pulling a trailer rolled onto its side on Ginkgo Avenue near 180th Street. The wreck happened at about 1:20 p.m. There was gas leaking from the truck. The driver was John Gesualdo of Ottumwa. The Washington County Ambulance transported one person to the Washington County Hospital. Emergency crews directed traffic through the area, since the truck was still in the northbound lane of the road. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, West Chester QRS, Wellman Fire Department, and Wellman Rescue responded to the scene.
