Dante’s Ascent performed by the Marching Demon Nation received an overall division I rating. Across Iowa, the state marching band festival is held at eight sites. On Saturday, Pella hosted all of the bands from Washington County. Washington High School’s band took the field and came away with a top rating.

The Mid-Prairie High School marching band also received a I rating. The Huskies of Highland High School received an overall II rating.
