The Washington volleyball teams gear up for the Southeast Conference tournament today when they travel to Burlington.

The Demons have been off since Tuesday when they lost in four sets to Fort Madison. Addison Six leads the team with 144 kills, Kinsey Duwa has 152 assists, and Kaitlyn Mitchell has recorded 149 digs. Head Coach Lexa Mahr tells KCII Sports it will be a big test tonight. “It will be a fight. You don’t know who will show up on what night so it is kind of up in the air. Each team in the conference has one or two good hitters so we are going to prepare our block for that. Overall it will come down to who shows up physically and mentally.”

Burlington comes in as the clear-cut favorite with a 17-2 record and are led by Angel Baylark’s 214 kills.

All of the action begins at 5 p.m. in Burlington.
