Monday marks the last time the Hillcrest Ravens will run on their home course in 2019. The Ravens last competed Thursday at the Bud Williams Invitational in Iowa City and were led by Leah Bontrager with a 40th place finish and Will Kolck in 111th place.

Other area teams that will be competing tonight at Hillcrest Academy include the Washington Demons. Washington last ran at their home meet last week. The Washington boys took third as a team and Evan Horak led the way with an individual title. The Demon girls were fourth with Grace Voss pacing the team in 14th.

Mid-Prairie will be in Kalona tonight, the Golden Hawk girls were champions at Williamsburg on Tuesday of last week with Marie Hostetler bringing home the individual title, the boys were fifth with Chandler Hershberger finishing 13th.

Lone Tree will also travel to Kalona. They ran at Winfield-Mt. Union Thursday with Macie Bopp finishing fourth individually and Alberto Cortes 17th. The WACO Warriors will compete tonight as well. At Winfield-Mt. Union Thursday they were led by Jonah Egli in ninth in the boys race and Grace Conwell 23rd in the girls run. The Keota Eagles will also travel to Kalona Monday. Dakota Hammen led the Eagle boys at Washington last week in 65th, Jenna Jaeger led the Keota girls in 38th. Sigourney will be the final area team in Kalona tonight. They also ran at Washington a week ago with the boys finishing fifth, led by Mason Moore in 22nd and the girls led by Georgia Atwood in 42nd. Action begins tonight at 4p.m. on the campus of Hillcrest Academy.
