Desperate to keep their postseason hopes alive, the Highland football team looks to bounce back from two tough losses tonight when they welcome Pekin to Riverside.

The Huskie (3-2) offense has struggled for just three scores in the last two weeks in losses to Lisbon and BGM. The defense has been a constant giving up just 17 points a night led by Cole Adamson’s 37 tackles and Zane Arnold’s five interceptions. That defense will have to be at its best against the Panthers’ Dayne Eckley. After a slow start to the season, the senior running back has exploded for over 400 yards rushing and four touchdowns in the last two games. Pekin (2-3) got some confidence back after wins against Davis County and Cardinal in week four and five.

The showdown begins at 7 p.m. tonight at Highland High School.
