A local boy scout project will bring a new aspect to Hall Park in Riverside this month. Matt Butler is working on his final Eagle Scout Project, a dog park in Riverside. The park will be roughly 115’x65′ with an area for small dogs and an area for large dogs, picnic tables and tires for the dogs to play on. It will be located near the ball fields in the grassy area of the park. Butler, reached out to the city council about the possibility of taking on the project himself. The city joined him in the venture and a small group of volunteers have taken part to help things come to fruition. The goal is to have the park open by the end of September with plans to add other features in the future.
