Another meet, another team title for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls cross country team. This time they were champions of the Pella Dutch Invitational Saturday on the campus of Central College. The Golden Hawks won the meet with a team score of 42 points, ahead of Nowalk in second with 65 points. Mid-Prairie was led by Marie Hostetler who took the individual title with her time of 18:12. Other finishers for the Golden Hawks included Abbagail Evans seventh, Mitzi Evans eighth, Sidney Yoder ninth, Angelina Evans 17th, Ana Fleming 22nd, Jaden Yoder 29th, Amara Jones 61st, Emily Schlabach 66th, Brittany Kinsinger 83rd, Tabitha Evans 91st, Zoe Fisher 98th, Anna Nafzinger 124th, Sarah Meader 132nd, Lilou Beachy 144th, and Zebi Kimani 145th.

The Mid-Prairie boys were fifth in the team standings with their overall score of 120 points, Gilbert won the meet with 57 points. Top finish for the Golden Hawks came from Thaddeus Shetler in 10th with a time of 17:31. Other finishers for the Golden Hawks included Jamison Stutzman 19th, Chandler Hershberger 21st, Lucas Bontrager 36th, Nathan Wallington 40th, Mose Yoder 74th, Luke Albright 114th, Micah Hostetler 146th, Sam Yoder 154th, Gunner Gingerich 165th, Robert Nagy 167th, Jordan Stock 171st, Levi Stultz 174th, Evan Hall 190th, Cade Groenewold 220th, Ethan Hall 252nd, and Irman Ibrahmovic 253rd.
